A Peaceful Oregon Retreat. A 100-Year Old Farm Steeped in History. Freedom is one of the first things you'll experience here on Crooked Finger Farms. Freedom to dig your fingers into the rich, fragrant soil. Freedom to spend your days wandering through the Oregon forest or soaking in the outdoor cedar hot tub. Freedom to connect with yourself and your family as you disconnect from the outside world. Find freedom in the joyful experience of being in the natural landscape of Crooked Finger Farm. Our property was once home to Chief Crooked Finger, who had his native encampments on this land. Here, he found a natural spring well for water and thriving wildlife in the surrounding forest. Today, we welcome guests into their choice of three accommodations on our 100-year-old farm. Each accommodation enhances your connection with the surrounding nature. You'll be able to take in beautiful views from every window, walk endless miles of hiking trails, or get up close and personal with the animals on our farm. Share a bottle of local wine on one of the private decks. Soak in the hot tub fed by a natural spring while you listen to the sounds of the wildlife around you. Or meditate within the extensive lawns and gardens around the farm. You'll find places for quiet conversations among the trees and joyful games on the wide-open fields. Our guests are free to wander and enjoy, and while we encourage interaction you are just as welcome to make this a personal retreat. We thoughtfully maintain this 67-acre organic farm. We love to share our fresh produce, which we pick ourselves from our on-site vegetable garden. You may even be lucky enough to get some fresh eggs from our chickens. We maintain the grounds to the highest standard so our farm is here to enjoy for at least another hundred years. We're also passionate about our horses. Guests are welcome to meet the animals and learn more about our horse-keeping experience. Our Oregon sanctuary is about an hour outside of Portland but feels a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city. While you'll be close to great shopping, brewpubs, and entertainment, you may find it hard to part from the peace of the farm. Come wander the beautiful fields, soak in the hot tub, and find a retreat steeped in history and the natural world for you and your family.
