Story

Vacation at a summer wilderness camp? But without all the noisy campers & counselors? Yes please! Vacationing at Camp Maple Lake is a unique opportunity to enjoy the grounds of a summer wilderness camp, outside of the traditional camp weeks. Bring your family or come alone and swim in the pool, canoe on the lake, go fishing, walk the path behind the lake, or sit on the lake side porch with your cup of coffee & watch the sunrise. There may be a few other families in cabins but the property is large enough to spread out so mainly you'll see deer, painted turtles sunning themselves on the bank of the lake, bright starry lit night skies, and hear lots of birds. This little vintage cabin was built in the 1950's. It has been maintained but still carries the simple charm of earlier days. It does not have a formal kitchen. It does have a table/chairs, microwave, small fridge, coffee pot, and grill. If you'd like to book more cabins on the property, invite your family & friends to search on Yonder Wilderness Rentals for: 1. Lakeside Lodge 2. Sunfish Cabin 3. Morning View Cabin 4.
